Graduate Education
An important partner of the Center, The Longwood Graduate Program, aims to train future leaders in the field of public horticulture. Established in 1967, this unique educational program is a partnership between the University of Delaware and Longwood Gardens. The Program’s flexible educational structure encourages learning through internships, special projects, seminars, and graduate coursework.
Leadership issues form the backbone of the program, and include:

Student research focuses on issues in public horticulture, including:
