Salary Data
The American Public Gardens Association (APGA) has cooperated with the Center on the Career Profiles project by providing salary range information from its 2006 salary survey. A 2008 salary survey is also now available.
Salaries for these positions vary widely, and depend on the experience and education of the applicant, as well as
- organizational budget
- geographic region
- urban / rural location
- type of institution, for example, not-for-profit, municipal parks department, university, or federal government
- staff size
